Directions from Indiana to Best Western Inn on the Park

The drive usually takes me about 3.5 hours (with some traffic) and it is a pretty easy drive after you get off of 294!!

Take 294North to I-90 (towards Rockford)
You will pass Schaumberg (IKEA) and Elgin as some landmarks
When approaching Rockford, stay on I-90 heading North
The Interstate is now called 90/39North
Take this up across the Wisconsin Border through Beloit and Janesville towards Madison
Exit I-90 on to Hwy 12/18 (Exit 142A)
Exit 12/18 on to John Nolen Drive (Exit #263)- This is a really pretty drive into the city!
Turn left on to Broom Street
Turn right on to W. Washington Avenue
Take W. Washington Avenue up to the Capitol Square
Turn right (one way) on to Carroll Street
The hotel is located at next corner on the right side
Pull into the driveway underneath the “Welcome” sign

Should you miss the turn, take the loop around the capital to get back to where you started. It works kind of like Indianapolis.

Safe travels!

Getting To and Around Madison...

We’re going to be honest with you. If you aren’t familiar with Madison, it can be a bit tricky to find your way around when driving.
We encourage you to walk as much as possible. It’s faster and more fun!

Parking around James Madison Park for the ceremony can be limited and we encourage you to either take a stroll, leave a bit earlier to park or take a hotel shuttle or taxi ride. We recommend Union cab- 608-242-2000.

Directions to James Madison Park are available using mapquest.com. Instead of an address you can use James Madison Park or use 500 E. Gorham for an approximation. Directions to reception will be available at the church. It is about a two-block walk to the reception.

For those joining us just for the Reception, please use mapquest and the address 127 E. Mifflin Street. A parking ramp is available just across Webster Street from Café Montmartre.

Of course, feel free to call Chris for more info 608.577.1776.

We were able to secure a block of rooms for our visiting guests. With a football game and the end of World Dairy Expo (yup... World Dairy Expo), it was a bit hard to get a block of rooms, so there is a limited amount available! As you can see from the photo it is right on the Capital Square and walking distance to the wedding and reception.

Here's the Info:

Best Western Inn on the Park
